Here are a few candids from our fabulous Premiere at the Directors’ Guild Theatre in Los Angeles on October 3rd. More video and pix to come!
Students, colleagues and friends of the documentary’s inspiration and Executive Producer, Larry Diamond and benefactor, Prince Moulay Hicham, were treated to a “sneak peek” at the film prior to it’s exhibition in festivals and in theaters, planned for later this year. Writer/Director/Producer Ben Moses was on hand as well, and the three answered numerous insightful questions in the Q&A held after the screening. Audience response was very strong and positive, which the filmmakers found inspiring.
What a fabulous crowd it was at the March 7th cast, crew, family & friends screening at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood! Congratulations to all whose hard work made this film possible!
Celebrating, from left to right, are Ambassador Robert Tuttle (former U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom), the National Endowment for Democracy’s President Carl Gershman, the film’s producers Amy Martinez and Ben Moses, and Stanford University’s Larry Diamond, who was Executive Producer of the film and whose book, “The Spirit of Democracy,” and life’s work supporting democracy around the world inspired the documentary.
